About The Ametrine Stone

An Ametrine is a fusion of the Citrine and Amethyst stones which are formed naturally. The Amethyst gives the stone its purple colour, whereas the Citrine is a lemon-coloured stone.

  • Look: Crystalline, often smallish and tumbled
  • Scarcity: Fairly available although only mined in one mine.
  • Source: Bolivia

A particularly useful stone for longer-term illnesses as it helps to bring about an insight into the causes of disease.

Ametrine connects physical realm to the higher consciousness. It is good for stress relief and clearing tension from the head. The stone is very calming to the mind and provides greater clarity. It also assists in removing negativity from the aura.
